Printmaking has many methods of producing an artwork but essentially original prints are each handmade by the artist. Each print is unique because the plate (matrix) has to be re-inked each time a print is made. Each print is numbered and signed by the artist. Jane enjoys the processes of monotypes, collagraphs, etching and lino cuts. Often she will add chine colle or combine several of the methods.
