About Jane Parson

​

Jane is an abstract expressionist artist creating paintings and handmade  limited edition prints.

She is based in New Zealand and lives at Hahei in Mercury Bay on the Coromandel Peninsula.

Jane is inspired by her emotional response to the visual experiences of the landscape of New Zealand – whether it be the open spaces, mountains and rivers of her childhood home in the South Island or the coastline of the Coromandel Peninsula in the North Island where she now lives.

Jane is a member of Printmakers Combined - a group of 10 artists from the eastern side of the Coromandel Peninsula.

She is also an artist member of Mercury Bay Art Escape and exhibits at her studio during the    Art Escape Open Studios which are held over the first 2 weekends in March each year.
